MALTA — The 29-year-old victim of an alleged drunken driving incident in Malta earlier this month has died as a result of his injuries suffered.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. Sept. 8 in the parking lot outside Bentley’s Tavern in Malta, where the victim, Joshua Soden, worked as a bartender and server. Soden, who was described by State Police as a pedestrian pinned beneath the vehicle, was first sent to Saratoga Hospital and then to Albany Medical Center with critical injuries.
