Greeley police have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old man at Centennial Park last month.

Around 3 p.m. Friday, police arrested Logan Dewane-McDowell for the Aug. 14 murder of 18-year-old Damien Montoya, according to a Greeley Police Department news release. Dewane-McDowell faces felony charges of second-degree murder and aggravated robbery, Colorado court records show.

Around 8 p.m. Aug. 14, police responded to a shooting at Centennial Park, 2201 23rd Ave., finding Montoya with at least one gunshot wound. Witnesses reported a fight between a person in a red truck and a person in a gray sedan prior to the shooting, according to another Greeley police news release.
