It took less than one half for the MetLife Stadium crowd to turn on fading veteran quarterback Russell Wilson .

Late in the first half of Sunday night’s Giants home opener against the Chiefs — a must-win game for both 0-2 teams — fans began calling for first-round rookie Jaxson Dart to replace Wilson.

“We want Dart!” the crowd chanted for a few moments, with the game tied 6-6 just before halftime.

That chant came in response to Wilson’s second interception of the night, on the Giants’ fifth drive. He threw a deep-ball pick into the end zone, on a second-and-7 pass intended for Malik Nabers, from the Chiefs’ 23-yard line with 56 seconds remaining.

The Giants entered halftime down 9-6, as the Chiefs got three field goals and the Giants managed one touchdown.
