East Lothian Crematorium & Memorial Gardens will open for services on Thursday, October 23, offering families uniquely personal farewells and Scotland’s first experience of state-of-the-art ‘super venue’ technology.

The brand-new facility is the first in Scotland - and only the third anywhere in the world - to feature the ‘super venue’ system.

Dynamic projections, harmoniously coordinated lighting, and synchronised soundscapes create an immersive experience which enables funerals to be personalised to unprecedented levels and to create an atmosphere that is truly authentic to the person remembered.

The super venue experience involves projecting dynamic themes onto the entire wall at the front of the chapel interior, enhanced further through matching lighting and soundscapes.
