During the progress of a fire in Walhalla, which for a time threatened to destroy a large portion of the business district, the young ladies of the city formed a bucket brigade, rendering valuable aid in extinguishing the flames. The fire was becoming dangerous when the ladies decided on the organizing of a bucket brigade. They handled the buckets filled with water in a rapid fashion, and did a great deal towa
