Aspen High tennis is getting ready for a second-half push and a shot at the team state tournament.

A 6-1 win in a duals matchup with Durango on Friday brought the Skiers to 4-1 on the year, as the team is starting to settle on its everyday lineup ahead of regionals — and hopefully more.

“I think we’re starting to get to that point where we’re starting to actually get, like, good,” senior captain Daane Reische said. “It’s been cool to see this season, I think a bunch of kids have gotten better. … We’ll have our lineup set next week, I think by like Monday, which will be nice.”
