COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) -- Good Monday morning! We're starting the day—and the new season—with mild, seasonal temps in the upper 60s across most of the region.

Even though it’s the first official day of autumn, it’ll feel more like summer this afternoon. Expect highs in the low 90s with elevated humidity, making it feel even warmer.

Tonight will be clear to mostly clear, with lows dipping back into the upper 60s. The warm weather sticks around through Wednesday before a cold front changes things up later in the week.

Scattered showers and storms are likely on Thursday as that front moves through. A few isolated storms could linger into Friday, followed by cooler, less humid air just in time for the weekend.
