A spot that served as a country-style buffet for more than four decades will soon be home to a drive-thru-style coffee shop.
The former Western Sizzlin location at 3211 Riverside Drive was sold to a holding group with plans to construct a 7 Brew.
There are nearly 500 locations of the self-described coffee stands throughout the nation. The first stand was established in Rogers, Arkansas, according to 7 Brew’s website.
The 1.11-acre property sold for $900,000 from The Daniel Group to 7B Real Estate BT Holdings, according to Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, a real estate services firm based in Glen Allen.
An online property database with the city lists the value of the building and land at $751,400.
