Samuel Ebersole has received two Emmy awards, worked 37 years as a professor and is now campaigning for a seat on the Pueblo County School District 70 Board of Education.

Ebersole is running for the Pueblo D70 board's District 3 seat that includes parts of northwestern Pueblo West. The professor emeritus with 31 years of experience in what is now Colorado State University Pueblo's Department of Media & Entertainment won Emmys with NBC Sports for 1988 Summer Olympic Games coverage.
