CHARLESTON — Gov. Patrick Morrisey is asking for public input on West Virginia’s application for millions of dollars in federal funding meant to target rural health.

The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services opened the application process for the $50 billion Rural Health Transformation Program on Monday. The program is a provision of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, or HR 1, which made historic cuts and changes to Medicaid and the Affordable Care Act Health Insurance Marketplace. kAm%96 =2H[ H9:49 !C6D:56?E s@?2=5 %CF>A D:8?65 :? yF=J[ :D k2 9C67lQ9EEADi^^HHH]<77]@C8^>65:42:5^2\4=@D6C\=@@<\2E\E96\d_\3:==:@?\CFC2=\962=E9\7F?5\:?\E96\?6H\C64@?4:=:2E:@?\=2H^Qm6IA64E65 E@ 4FE 7656C2= |65:42:5 DA6?5:?8 3J ?62C=J Sh`` 3:==:@? @G6C `_ J62CDk^2m 2?5 C6DF=E :? `_ >:==:@?
