HILLSDALE, Mich. (WILX) - During a memorial service held on Sunday in honor of Charlie Kirk, Hillsdale College President Dr. Larry P. Arnn announced that the college will be awarding honorary degrees to both Charlie and his wife, Erika Kirk.

Dr. Arnn noted that Kirk had completed dozens of online courses through the college.

“Erika doesn’t know this yet,” Arnn said. “We are going to give Charlie and Erika the greatest respect a college can give, an honorary degree.”

The degrees will be awarded on May 9.
