The Mexico-Canada Action Plan

This was the document announced by the Prime Minister’s Office as a “new partnership” between Canada and Mexico, both of whom have occasionally been lumped together in the various tariff levies imposed by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump.

The action plan itself is filled with phrases such as “deepen cooperation,” “build on the momentum,” “advance initiatives” and “intend to collaborate,” but it doesn’t commit either country to anything new, or set any benchmarks to what this “new partnership” will look like.
