The New York Jets lost their third straight game to start the Aaron Glenn era on Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Jets staged a late comeback highlighted by Will McDonald’s blocked kick return for a touchdown to give the Jets an improbable lead with less than two minutes to play. Given the Jets’ defense’s struggles this season, it was perhaps unsurprising they were unable to keep the lead. Baker Mayfield led a drive for a game winning field goal as time expired. I’m not sure if the Jets hadn’t chopped enough wood, drank too much instant coffee, or built too big of a ship. In any event, the Jets lost again. The Jets stink again.
