The game was called after eight innings do to rain.
Gutierrez allowed four runs — three earned — on six hits and no walks in five innings.
Gutierrez began the year at low Single-A Lake Elsinore (2.88 ERA, 50 IP) and spent most of the season at high Single-A Fort Wayne (3.74 ERA, 65 IP). He then threw five shutout innings in one start at Double-A San Antonio before five innings on Sunday for El Paso.
For the season, Gutierrez went 5-6 with a 3.31 ERA, 115 strikeouts and a 1.21 WHIP over 125 innings.
