BEDFORD — Parents and caregivers in North Lawrence Community Schools still have one more chance this month to take part in a free training aimed at helping families navigate the daily challenges of school routines.

The second and final session of Preparing Our Kids for Success is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Parkview Primary School K–2 building, 1701 Brian Lane Way in Bedford.

The workshop is designed to give parents practical tools for getting children to school, boosting academic performance, and improving communication at home. Organizers say families can learn strategies to raise grades in as little as three weeks and identify ways to reduce morning battles over school attendance and homework.
