CLEVELAND, Miss. – The family of Demar Trayvon Reed, a 21-year-old student found hanging from a tree on Delta State University campus, is seeking answers following the ruling of his death as a suicide by state medical examiners.

Reed's body was discovered by police on Monday, and his death has sparked outrage and allegations online about the circumstances surrounding it. Local police have stated there is no evidence of foul play.

Reed’s family, however, is not convinced. They are now pushing for an independent autopsy. Their attorney has mentioned that the family has received conflicting accounts and incomplete information about Reed's death.

The situation continues to raise questions within the community as the family seeks clarity on the circumstances of Reed's passing.
