President Donald Trump’s approval rating has fallen in recent weeks as polls reveal that Americans disapprove of his handling of tariffs, immigration and foreign wars.

An average of recent polls from the New York Times shows that his approval rating as of Sept. 22 is 43%, with 54% disapproving of his performance. The net approval (-11) is slightly lower than it's been in the past month.

In recent weeks, Trump attended the memorial service for assassinated conservative influencer Charlie Kirk , he took a state visit to the United Kingdom, and he sued the New York Times for $15 billion dollars in a lawsuit that has been thrown out.
