PROVIDENCE ‐ Saturday afternoon was beautiful in Providence. And the high school football only elevated the fall day.

St. Raphael vs. Central had the feeling of two Division I teams wanting to make an important statement. They want everyone to know that they can play with the proverbial Top 3 teams in the state - Hendricken, La Salle and North Kingstown - this season. There’s no reason why they shouldn’t be able to, but winning in Week 2 was the first step.
