Ohio State football landed a commitment from Angelo Smith, the younger brother of current Buckeye phenom Jeremiah Smith, late on Sunday, Sept. 21.
Smith is a safety at his older brother's alma mater, Chaminade-Madonna. The junior has tallied 58 tackles, four interceptions, and 13 PBUs through 14 games on varsity. This season, he's tallied one interception and two PBU through three games played.
Smith, at 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, is rated as a 3-star and No. 38 safety in the country for the 2027 class according to 247Sports . He reports four offers from the Buckeyes , Miami, Toledo, and Oklahoma State. He was initially offered by Ohio State in June.
