A woman has tentatively settled her lawsuit against a Santa Fe Springs transportation company in which she alleged she was wrongfully terminated in 2024 from her job as freight operations manager in retaliation for complaining about sexual harassment by male managers.

Eugenia Delaveri also contended in her Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit that one of the managers at XPO Logistics Freight Inc. told her the only reason the plaintiff of Greek and Russian background was hired was to fill the company’s gender diversity requirements. On Thursday, Delaveri’s attorneys filed court papers with Judge Peter A. Hernandez notifying him of a conditional resolution in the case with the expectation that a request for dismissal will be filed by Nov. 1. No terms were divulged.
