COLUMBUS, Ind. – A Columbus native and Purdue University Graduate will become one of 8,000 applicants to become a new Astronaut on Monday, September 22.

The names of the 2025 NASA graduates will be announced today during the 2025 astronaut candidate selection ceremony at 12:30 p.m. EDT. Following the ceremony, the candidates will be required to undergo two years of training before they can participate in flight assignments
