Brief morning showers (and isolated storms) will gradually dissipate on Monday, giving way to sunshine and hot weather.

It certainly won’t feel like fall, which begins at 1:19 p.m. Afternoon temperatures will be well into the 90s.

Another sunny and hot day is on tap for Tuesday before a weather change arrives Tuesday night.

A cold front will push into North Texas Tuesday night, bringing with it a round of showers and storms, some of which could be severe.

The highest chance of rain will be after midnight Tuesday and into Wednesday morning. Cooler temperatures will follow, with highs back down into the 80s by Wednesday.
