A 45-year-old man was arrested in connection with a shooting in Jamul on Sunday, where no one was injured but a residence was struck by gunfire.
Deputies from the Rancho San Diego Sheriff’s Station responded at 3:07 p.m. Sunday to reports of a suspect shooting a firearm at a residence during a dispute between neighbors, the sheriff’s department said.
Several people were detained in the shooting but deputies arrested only Daniel Ames, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
Ames was booked into custody at San Diego Central Jail for an unrelated felony warrant and a felony charge of shooting at an inhabited dwelling, authorities said.
