In a matter of three weeks, Washington Commanders linebacker and Seattle Seahawks legend Bobby Wagner got to play against former Seahawks starting quarterbacks Russell Wilson and Geno Smith. Both were comfortable wins for the Commanders, and both QBs were greeted in the backfield by No. 54 himself.
On opening day against the New York Giants, Wagner didn’t officially sack Wilson, but a Wilson interception was nullified by a roughing the passer penalty. In Washington’s blowout win over the Las Vegas Raiders, Wagner sacked Geno twice, as Smith was harassed all game and sacked five times behind an offensive line coached by Brennan Carroll.
