‘We’re devastated’: Michigan prep football player disciplined after causing spine fractures

Disciplinary action has been assessed to a Michigan high school football player that sent an opposing player to the hospital with severe injuries last week.

Following the incident that occurred during last Thursday’s junior varsity football game, where a Kalamazoo Central player sent a Stevensville Lakeshore player to the hospital with spine fractures, Kalamazoo Central High School released a statement on Friday via social media –– which included consequences of the K-Central individual who “made a poor choice.”
