The recall was announced by Western United Fish Company, also known as Annasea Foods Group, after their green onion supplier reported a positive test result for listeria monocytogenes on September 17.
The affected product, packaged in clear plastic clamshell containers, was available in the deli section of Costco Warehouse stores across more than 30 states . It carries the item number 17193, with a pack date of September 18, 2025, and a sell-by date of September 22, 2025. The recall was conducted with the knowledge of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
