BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is behind bars after allegedly leaving the scene of a wreck over the weekend.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded to multiple calls reporting a truck had hit a vehicle in the 1200 block of Kentucky Street on Saturday.

While responding, police say a caller stated they had been rear ended by the truck at the intersection of Kentucky Street and East 12th Avenue. The caller stated the truck then left the scene, heading toward Center Street, authorities say.

Authorities say the truck was missing its front passenger tire. Officers say they located the vehicle at the intersection of Center Street and East 12th Avenue, where it ignored a stop sign and hit a curb.
