Hundreds of celebrities signed a letter expressing their support for Jimmy Kimmel Live after Disney and ABC suspended the host's late-night talk show. Kimmel's show was taken off the air indefinitely after comments he made about Charlie Kirk's killer.

Backlash against Kimmel from conservatives was swift, with FCC chair Brendan Carr and Donald Trump threatening ABC and Disney, and two major TV station owners, Nexstar and Sinclair, pulling Jimmy Kimmel Live from their stations.

Since then, Disney and Kimmel have been in negotiations behind closed doors to find a way to bring Jimmy Kimmel Live back to the airwaves. So far, though, a deal has not been reached.
