Following 2026’s Supergirl , Gunn recently confirmed that the next chapter in the Superman saga is Man of Tomorrow , which is coming to theaters on July 9, 2027. This afternoon, Gunn took to his personal social media account to share a picture of the second draft of the Man of Tomorrow script, seemingly confirming that Braniac will be the feature villain in the 2027 film .
