ROCHESTER, Minn. – Gunfire during a large weekend gathering is being investigated by the Rochester Police Department.

Officers were called to the area of Bamber Valley Elementary School at around 12:30 am Sunday. Investigators say approximately 20 to 30 people were gathered outside when someone reportedly fired off multiple shots.

Police say several large shell casings were found at the scene but no one was injured and investigators say they do not know if the gunfire was targeted at a specific person or persons.
