The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a third man in connection with a 2015 cold case.

According to Sheriff Tim Soignet, John Fitzgerald Bonvillain Jr., 40, was arrested as part of the continuing investigation. Advertisement

Bonvillain was arrested Sept. 19 and charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.

At the time of his arrest, he was already in custody on unrelated charges. He will remain without bond pursuant to the arrest warrant.

Two Houma men were arrested last Wednesday in connection with the killing of Pamela Johnson, 56, of Bourg.

Johnson was killed on Dec. 1, 2015. Two young girls were abducted and found on Wade Street in Houma. At the time of Johnson's death, the girls reported that a man shot their aunt. The girls were found near Johnson's car.
