A plan approved this month by Sacramento's City Council to build a micro-community of tiny homes aimed at seniors and charge individuals living there is leading to another community near the proposed site of those planned communities.

Councilmember Lisa Kaplan and Vice-Mayor Karina Talamantes are hosting a community meeting about the micro-community on land near Arena Boulevard and El Centro Road.

"There are many unanswered questions and concerns that we and many of our community members have; we must have more transparency from the city on this," read a social media post from Councilmember Lisa Kaplan promoting the meeting.
