Despite their excitement to start university and embrace independence, a survey of 1,000 graduates found that 80% wished they’d been better prepared for the realities of student life. The research, conducted by EXTRA, also revealed the must-have items that made uni life smoother.
Top recommendations included a doorstop to encourage a sociable atmosphere, earplugs for undisturbed sleep during Freshers’ Week , a laundry basket to avoid piles of clothes on the floor, and slippers to keep warm without turning up the heating.
