A section of Telegraph Road will be closed for three weeks beginning Monday, Sept. 29. From Greenfield Avenue to Holiday Boulevard, the road will be closed for construction to replace a culvert over the Mason Run drain.

According to a release by the city of Monroe , the current structure requires replacement to ensure long-term structural integrity. The project also includes relocating the sanitary sewer and natural gas lines. The culvert will also receive a 15-20 foot extension to the east to facilitate the construction of a 10-foot-wide sidewalk in 2026.
