Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA) said he repeatedly warned former President Joe Biden ‘s staff about Biden’s bid for reelection before bringing his concerns to the former president directly.

During an interview on NBC’s Meet the Press , Shapiro said he warned Biden’s team about “worrying signs” in the former president’s 2024 reelection campaign but felt staff members did not relay his concerns directly to Biden.
