A huge boa constrictor has been spotted making its way across a Hertfordshire street usually used by parents on the school run. ‌

The five-foot-long serpent was seen last Thursday in Hemel Hempstead with resident Laura Jolly Yan one of the first on the scene after being alerted by a neighbour who came running to her door. ‌

"Our street is popular with the school run and there are a lot of kids, so it's freaky to have a snake that big on a school run," Laura, 42, said. ‌
