The SLS was the successor to the and the first vehicle that AMG designed and built by itself. It features a retrofuturistic design inspired by the legendary 300 SLR, including a pair of gull-wing doors. Just as noteworthy, though, is a V-8 that Mercedes claimed was the world’s most powerful naturally aspirated mill at the time of its launch in 2010. The SLS was in production for five years, during which time the German automaker exported a little over 2,700 examples, like the one currently up for sale, to the U.S.
