His new film, the Ben Wheatley crime thriller Normal, debuted to critical acclaim at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) earlier this month, leaving audiences to wonder when Odenkirk's unlikely action hero will get his cinematic return. It turns out that the wait shouldn't be too long, as Magnolia Pictures has officially acquired the U.S. distribution rights to the actor's big-time festival crowd-pleaser, with plans to give the film a theatrical release in 2026.
