The man accused of bursting into Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua Saturday night and killing a man with a pistol will be held on preventive detention.

Hunter Nadeau, 23, of Nashua, appeared briefly over video before Judge Tanya Spony as he waived formal arraignment Monday afternoon. He wore a protective vest and appeared calm during the brief hearing.

A probable cause hearing was scheduled for Oct. 1.

No new details were revealed about Saturday's incident and all documents except the complaint were unavailable.

Nadeau faces one count of second-degree murder in the death of Robert Steven DeCesare, 59, a Nashua resident. Two other people who were unidentified were also wounded in Saturday's incident, authorities have said.
