LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

Indiana football nearly cracked the Top 10 of the latest AP poll after its 63-10 statement win over then No. 9 Illinois.

The Hoosiers were ranked 19th ahead of their matchup against Illinois and just a 7-point favorite to win.

Indiana's rout of Illinois proved the Hoosiers are once again vying for a spot in the College Football Playoff and are one of the top teams in the Big 10.

Landing at No. 11 in the latest AP poll, Indiana will look to carry that momentum into Saturday when they take on Iowa at 3:30 p.m.

While not finding their way into the Top 25, Louisville is working its way up the polls. The Cardinals received 23 votes after their 40-17 win over Bowling Green to stay perfect at 3-0 on the season.
