City of Covington issues boil water advisory for Highway 190 businesses

COVINGTON, La. —

Multiple businesses in Covington are under a boil water advisory Monday afternoon.

The City of Covington issued the advisory for businesses on Highway 190, including Rouses, Ollies, PHO Cong, McDonald's, Butter Krisp, the Neighborhood Walmart, Rainbow GMC, and all surrounding businesses. Advertisement

Covington Mayor Mark Johnson said the advisory was issued after Cox Cable drilled through a 15-inch water main on Friday, while laying fiber.
