PAOLI — Purdue Extension-Orange County will host Chef University for local youth in grades 3–5 from Oct. 15–17 at the 4-H Fairgrounds Block Building. The program runs daily from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and is designed to give students hands-on experience in the kitchen.
Chef University will feature lessons in healthy cooking, kitchen skills, and international foods, all taught in a fun, interactive environment. Organizers say the program helps participants gain confidence in preparing meals while learning the importance of nutrition and cultural variety.
Registration is $15 and is due by Oct. 10. The class is limited to 25 participants, with a minimum of 10 required. Cost assistance is available for families who may need it. Participants may register online at ChefUfall25.4honline.com .
