Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith entered Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams with seven receptions for 69 yards in the first two games of the 2025 NFL season.

Against the Rams, Smith had eight receptions for 60 yards and one touchdown – and the touchdown completed the Eagles’ comeback from a 19-point deficit (although Philadelphia still needed to block a field-goal attempt on the final snap, which was returned for a touchdown) in a 33-26 victory.

The Eagles faced fourth-and-goal at the Los Angeles 4-yard line trailing by five points with less than two minutes to play when quarterback Jalen Hurts targeted Smith at the goal line. Smith’s touchdown reception gave Philadelphia a 27-26 lead with 1:48 to play.
