On the field, the Blue Jays are chasing down a division title and maybe even the best record in the American League after officially clinching a playoff berth on Sunday in Kansas City.

But in the stands, fans have a chance at making some history of their own.

Tuesday night’s matchup with the Boston Red Sox at Rogers Centre will be the final Loonie Dog game of the season and Schneiders is marking the occasion with some limited-edition gear – and pushing fans to hit a massive milestone.

Fans at the downtown dome already twice have broken the record for most Loonie Dogs sold during a game – on July 22 there were 84,731 Schneiders Loonie Dogs sold, and then that mark was shattered on Aug. 26 with a staggering 96,633 dogs bought.
