MASON COUNTY, Ky. – The search continues for an escaped inmate believed to be in Mason County.
On Monday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation Louisville confirmed it is now offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of 48-year-old Jerry Lee Cooper.
Cooper is wanted for escaping from the Brown County Detention Center in Georgetown, Ohio on Sept. 15.
The FBI Louisville says Cooper was being held while awaiting trial for his alleged role in a murder-for-hire. Authorities say he is considered “armed and dangerous”
