Coming off a bye week, Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi returned to the podium Monday with one eye on the future and one still lingering on the past.
The Panthers had extra time to process their 20-13 overtime loss at West Virginia, a defeat that stung not only because of the rivalry, but because of how it unfolded.
Narduzzi said the team put the game “to bed a long time ago,” but he acknowledged that the open date provided more chances to re-evaluate both the performance and the way Pitt will handle bye weeks moving forward.
