PORT HURON — Throughout the 2025-26 MHSAA sports season, the Times Herald will highlight the top performances of the past week from local high school athletes.

VOLLEYBALL

Joanna Baumgarten — Algonac: Baumgarten had 12 kills on 28 swings and a solo block in the Muskrats' 3-1 win over Richmond on Sept. 15.

Sienna Dennis — Port Huron: Dennis recorded 18 kills in the Red Hawks' 3-0 win over St. Clair on Sept. 16.

Ryan Essenmacher — Sandusky: Essenmacher totaled 16 digs, three kills and 15 assists against Harbor Beach on Sept. 16. She also went 17-for-1
