SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The 437 Project is an annual fundraiser where runners compete in a 437-mile relay-style journey across South Dakota for suicide prevention.

The run kicks off on Thursday, September 25, at 5:30 am MT at the South Dakota/Wyoming border and ends on Sunday, September 28.

Presented by Avera, The 437 Project aims to raise awareness for mental health and funds for the Helpline Center.
