KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - On Monday, September 22, representatives and leaders in Wyandotte County held a call to action in the death of Charles Adair on the front steps of the county courthouse.
The call to action led by pastors Terry Bradshaw Jr, LaRon Thompson, and NAACP president, Tarence Maddox. The three men spoke out against the death of Wyandotte County inmate Charles Adair. Wyandotte County Detention Center Officer Richard Fatherley, is charged with second-degree murder in Adair’s death.
“We are calling for accountability of all involved to do what is right and righteous,” Pastor Terry Bradshaw Jr. said. “A man lost his life; we must do what is right to ensure justice is served. There is no justifiable reason why we’re here today, and Deputy Fatherley is still free.”
