EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) - Robert Redford passed away at the age of 89, leaving behind a legacy of Hollywood classics, impeccable performances, award-winning films, and an example of what makes a movie star.

He was a Movie Star! He had good looks, but talent that was unrivaled. He actually won an Oscar as Best Director for "Ordinary People," and was nominated for three others. He was one of the founders of the Sundance Film Festival. A tribute to his unforgettable role in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, which honored Independent Films and the art of filmmaking.
